A magyar néphit és népi vallás rendszere, európai kapcsolatai, az európai vallásantorpológia fogalomrendszere, a halottkultusz, samanizmus, boszorkányság és egyéb mitikus-rituális rendszerek történeti alakulása, paradigmaváltásai, európai mitológiák, ráolvasások.
Main research areas
General concepts and phenomena of the anthropology of religion anthropology; comprehensive analysis and comparative research of Central Eastern European vernacular religion, folk belief and text folklore; complex anthropological research of lay religiosity and popular magic; research into early modern religion, witchcraft and demonology.
